Vietnam Wiha Co. Ltd: 80 billion VND for construction of New Plant in Song Cong Town

In June 12th, Vietnam Wiha Company Limited organized the opening ceremony of the 2nd Plant in Song Cong Industrial Zone.

Since January 1^st, 2011, the Plant has been constructed with the area of 3 ha and has gross investment over 80 billion VND also has capacity of 1,000 products/month.

Mr. Christian Russ, General Director of Vietnam Wiha Co. Ltd said in the event that the company would keep investing additional 3.5 million USD in the Plant for production of new products, as well as expect Thai Nguyen Province and Song Cong Town to continue to create favorable conditions in order for the company to increasingly develop and have a long attachment to Thai Nguyen as the commitment.

Mo Che ward-based (Song Cong Town) Vietnam Wiha Co. Ltd is of 100% foreign investment (Germany Federal Republic). The company is expert at mechanical hand tools, including kinds of pliers and screw-drivers, for export to European and North America markets. Since its operation in Thai Nguyen in 2006, it has great contributions to Provincial Budget as well as provided jobs for 320 local workers with average salary of 3.8 million VND/employee/month. Currently, 270 employees of the company are transferred to the New Plant.
