Provincial leaders welcomed the Canadian business delegation

On the morning of 20 December, Comrade Pham Xuan Duong, Member of Central Communist Party, Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Comrade Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee welcomed the business delegation from Canada led by Mr. Eric J. O'Rourke, the representative of  FORREC company.

At the meeting, Mr. Eric J. O'Rourke introduced the establishment and development of FORREC company, as well as its main operation fields in Canada. He highly appreciated and admired the historical tradition of Viet Nam, the socio-economic development in the renovation period. Comrade Pham Xuan Duong and Comrade Duong Ngoc Long presented an overview of the potential, strength of the province in the fields, such as metallurgy, education - training, historical tourism and ecotourism, the growth speed, the social - economic development, mechanisms to attract domestic and foreign investment, etc. The comrades welcomed the Canadian business delegation to Thai Nguyen Province in order to seek investing opportunities and committed to make favorable conditions for internal and external enterprises and Canadian enterprises to invest in Thai Nguyen.

In the short term, FORREC company is going to cooperate with Chien Cong Industry and Transport Cooperative to implement the development project of Nui Coc lake tourism area with the aim of making this area to be ‘The land of festival’ which will actually become the national major tourism area of international stature.
