Gyeong Sang Buk-Do Provincial Council visited and worked inThai Nguyen Province

On 20th December, the delegation of  Gyeong Sang Buk-Do Provincial Council (the Republic of Korea) led by Mr. Lee Sang Hyo, Chairman of the Provincial Council, visited Thai Nguyen Province.

Working with the delegation were Comrade Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Comrade Vu Hong Bac, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and the representatives of departments of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, Comrade Vu Hong Bac introduced the province’s social-economic development. He also introduced the organizational structure, functions of the Provincial People's Council and exchanged some potential areas of cooperation between two parties. Mr. Lee Sang Hyo also introduced the potential and strength of Gyeong Sang Buk-Do Province, the organizational structure and the operating competence of Gyeong Sang Buk-Do Provincial Council to the leaders of Thai Nguyen Province; expressed the wish of finding out the common interests in order to sign a cooperation agreement with Thai Nguyen Province.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Duong Ngoc Long thanked the support of Gyeong Sang Buk-Do Province in recent years, especially the help of building the new rural area following a model in La Bang Commune, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province. He also showed the idea of improving the cooperation of both parties in all fields to promote mutual social-economic development strongly.
