Prudential Viet Nam Received the Third-Grade Labor Medal

In the morning of 2nd November, in Ha Noi, Prudential Viet Nam Life Insurance Co., LTD celebrated the Receiving Ceremony of the Third-Grade Labor Medal solemnly (Photo).

Attending that Ceremony, there were Mr. Tran Xuan Ha, Deputy Minister of Finance; Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labor -War Invalids and Social Affairs; Insurance Supervisory Authority Department, the Vietnam Insurance Association; the Leadership of Global Prudential Corporation, Prudential Corporation Asia and nearly five thousand excellent officers, employees, consultants of Prudential Viet Nam, etc.

After more than 12 years of operation in the Viet Nam market, up to now, Prudential is one of the leading life insurance companies in over the country. In the first six months in 2011, sales of the insurance premium of the company reached 615 billion VND (increased by 21.2% against the same period last year); the total insurance premium increased by about 2.8 trillion VND (up 12.3% and accounted for 38% of the market share in the national life insurance; the total assets value was about 30 trillion VND (up 13.3% against the same period last year); the total value of paying the insurance interests in the first six months in 2011 was 1,248 billion VNDs for 104,747 cases; the total value of paying the insurance interests by the end of June in 2011 was 7,181 billion VNDs for 986,341 cases.

Beside the successful operation, Prudential is proud of being the leading company in social responsibility activities. The company established the Viet Nam Prudence Fund and pledged 10 million USD for the social activities of Viet Nam in the next 5 years.

To record the results and the contribution of Prudential Viet Nam in the general development of the country, the Company has been awarded the Third-Grade Labor Medal by the State.
