Hastening the Operation Schedule of Work Items for the Tea Festival

On the morning of October 04th, Comrade Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen led the task force to inspect the operation progress of works for the Tea Festival.  

  In the delegation, there were leaders of some departments, authorities of the province, such as Transport Department; Industry and Trade Department; Culture, Sports and Tourism Department; Construction Department; Steering Committee of Compensation, Land Clearance, Resettlement Support of the province; leaders of Thai Nguyen City and Dai Tu District, etc.

Comrade Duong Ngoc Long directly inspected on the site and continuously led the execution of work items for the First International Tea Festival – Thai Nguyen, Viet Nam 2011. At present, the construction of work items is being completed very urgent. Among them, the construction of main stage; tea cultural space; parking place; traffic road; and harbor are attached special importance to and cared about. To implement this task, the local and appropriate authorities and the investors have actively coordinated to propagandize, mobilize the people; to timely solve the problems or difficulties, especially in compensation and land clearance; the investors extremely gather all facilities, equipment and human resources to quickly complete each work item according to the rate of progress.

Up to this time, the investors have completed 70-80% of the workload. The work items meet the requirements of quality, techniques and art. However, during the execution, the investors have still had some difficulties because some households haven’t handed over the construction land and the weather was not favorable.

After having listened to a report and directly inspected the execution of work items and projects, Comrade Duong Ngoc Long appreciated the participation of the whole party committee, the local authorities and people, and the investors during the implementation of assigned tasks. He affirmed: “The Tea Festival is a great event of our country and province with the purpose of respecting and popularizing Thai Nguyen Tea trademark. The preparation for the Festival has been cared about and led by the leaders of the province. To make the Festival be taken place on schedule, the executive committees, the local authorities and people, and the investors will continuously take part, especially focusing on hastening the operation schedule of work items, etc.”
