Approval for the detailed script of the “Miss Tea-land” contest

On the evening of October 11th, under the presiding of Comrade Ma Thi Nguyet - Member of the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chief Organizer of the Organization Board of the “Miss Tea-land” contest, members of the Contest Organization Board had a meeting to review the preparation work last time, concurrently approved the detailed script of the contest.

Attending the meeting, there were the people’s artist Tran Binh - Director of Viet Nam Song, Dance and Light Music Theater, and the representative of Ham Nghi Company which is assigned to coordinate to organize the event.

 

According to the report of Comrade Duong Xuan Hung - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thai Nguyen Province, the representative of the contest organization standing office, up to now 115 contestants from 17 provinces and cities around the country registered to participate in the contest. The propaganda work about the contest was carried out actively. The logistics of the contest was also prepared carefully. Many units registered to support the contest, such as the East Asian Construction and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company and Dong Song Xanh Hotel sponsoring accommodations for the contestants, Ha Lan Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company sponsoring means of transport for them, Viet Phuong Wedding Studio sponsoring clothes of  “Ao dai” and gala evening, make-up, hairdressing for them.

 

With regard to the contest’s script, after listening to the proposal of the people’s artist Tran Binh - General Director, the delegates had opinions about the theme and details of the script of the “Miss Tea-land” contest program and the artistic performance. The primary examination of contestants will be carried out before October 31st, and then 40 contestants meeting the requirements will be trained and participate the next examination parts in the period from October 31st to November 13th. The final examination and the announcement of “Miss Tea-land” title will be carried out in the closing night of the Festival (November 15th). About the contest’s regulations, the delegates agreed to reject the competition part of picking tea leaves and actively mobilize the sponsors to raise the reward for each title of the contest.

 

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Ma Thi Nguyet appropriated the attempt of the Contest Organization Standing Office and General Director as well as the coordination units in the program organization. She required the Standing Office and the related units to acquire the delegates’ opinions, check and focus on completing the final phases of contest preparation for the purpose of reporting to the Festival Steering Board. She also said that the Contest Organization Board needed to care about training contestants’ performance and eloquence skills carefully, reduce questions in the knowledge test about society and tea, and compose suggesting documents for the contestants…
