Appraising the opening ceremony program of the Tea Festival

The Art Council of appraising the script of the International Tea Festival’s activities appraised the opening ceremony program of the Tea Festival on the 18th of October.

Ms. Ma Thi Nguyet, Member of the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Deputy Chief Organizer of the Organization Board of the Festival, Chairman of the Art Council of appraising the script of the International Tea Festival’s activities, presided over the working session.

The opening ceremony of the Tea Festival is implemented by the Ham Nghi Joint Stock Company (No. 55, Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Ha Noi City). According to the statement at the appraisal meeting, the opening ceremony includes 8 chapters, which is written by Writer Nguyen Khac Phuc, generally directed by Mr. Le Hung; musically directed by Composer Trong Dai. The first chapter has the theme of “Paradise in the land of Capital with windy mountains and forests”; the second one is “the meeting for discussion”, the third is “the suite of “Nui Coc lake legend”; the forth is “Thai Nguyen’s flavor and beauty”; the fifth is “the dawn on the tea terraced-field”; the sixth is “Viet Nam tea flavor”; the seventh is “the meeting of the international great teas”; and the eighth is “the confident in the close-knit dance”.

 Members of the Art Council believed that the script of the opening ceremony was well prepared and implemented in detail with concise comments which showed the purpose and meaning of the Tea Festival, etc. However, they also said that some inaccurate words in the script needed to be corrected, etc.

Concluding at the appraisal meeting, Ms. Ma Thi Nguyet said that this script basically met all requirements, closely followed the topic of the Festival; the songs were suitable with the bright lyrics. However, she required that in order to organize the opening successfully, the directors had to follow closely the literary and music scripts. Besides, the authorities were responsible for collecting students to practice according to the script with a strong sense of responsibility. She also requested the Ham Nghi Join Stock Company to supervise the stage construction, guarantee completion of the art design in compliance with the plan so that the opening ceremony would be tested on November 9^th. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was entrusted to report to the higher authorities to agree the opening program, etc.
