The first Internet course for the farmers

On 15Sep, the "Improving Ability Computer and Internet" project Management Board, belonging to Vietnam Public Interest Telecommunication service, Mistry of Information and Communications opened the first Internet course for the farmers in Tan Cuong village (Thai Nguyen City). Twenty trainees are the village's officers and residents.

 

With  shortened theory, and more hands-on practices, the direct training will provide the trainees with basic knowledge on computer systems, basic network components, line network devices, and useful skills such as information search, email and so on.

 

The trainees will apply the knowledge obtained from the course in their lives and train other residents on using the computer, accessing Internet or exploire the neccessary information, related to production, agricultural process, market expansion and trademark exposure.

 

To help the residents here access computers and connect to the Internet more easily, the Project had put in 5 computers, related devices and the access line at the village post office.
