Since the opening ceremony of National Tourism Year 2007 (27/2), Thai Nguyen welcomes an average number of 2.000 tourists/day.
Historical spots like ATK (safety zone for the revolutionary war base) in Dinh Hoa, Vo Nhai; and eco-tourism area of Nui Coc lake are among most visited sites.
Thai Nguyen has been totally ready to meet the demand of accommodation and shopping of visitors and guests pilgrim to the forest wind capital. Thai Nguyen has now 60 tourism service enterprises, 5 travel agents and 85 hotels with 1.500 high standard rooms.
According to Department of Tourism, 750.000 tourists (in which there are 250.000 foreign tourists) are expected to visit Thai Nguyen in the year 2007.
