Up to 13/3/2007, permanent board of Thai Nguyen election council for the 12th National assembly have received 2 applications of nominating candidates to the 12th National assembly from Thai Nguyen party committee office and Pho Yen party committee office.
In the first consultation round there were 23 delegates nominated, these delegates are working in 15 units: provincial Party committee office, Organization board of Party committee, office of provincial people’s assembly, provincial women’s union, provincial political college, Pho Yen party committee, military zone 1, provincial military headquarters, Thai Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen education and training Service, the branch of labour, invalids and social affair, agricultural branch, medical branch, Thai Nguyen steel and iron company, non-state enterprises.
The rest units have received adequate applications for candidates and taken necessary steps according to the instructions. According to the plan, 17 o’clock of 16/3/2007 will be the deadline for nominated candidates and self-nominees to submit applications.
According to information from permanent board of Thai Nguyen election council, there has been 1 candidate who is working in Tam Viet Training and Consulting joint stock Company-Thai Nguyen asked for application form to run for election. However the application has not been officially submitted yet.
