WEEK IN REVIEW (From April 29 to May 5)

Owning many tangible and intangible UNESCO-recognised heritage sites, Vietnam is striving to optimise the value of the UNESCO titles for stronger socioeconomic development.

The fifth Thai - Lao friendship bridge, which links Bueng Kan province of Thailand with Pakxan town of Laos, is scheduled to open this November.

Recently, the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Exchange Center (KCCC) has organized volunteer and cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and South Korea at Tan Thai Elementary and Secondary School (Dai Tu district).

On the evening of April 26, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Thai Nguyen City, the Department of Industry and Trade inaugurated the Trade Fair and Exhibition “Industry and Trade - OCOP Thai Nguyen 2024”. 

On April 25, Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the 2024 Tourism Season in Thai Nguyen Province with the theme "From Experience to Heart". Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, the Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation​​​​​​​, attended the program.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the eighth meeting of the National Committee for Digital Transformation on April 24, which aims to assess digital transformation efforts and development of the digital economy in recent times and discuss tasks and solutions for accelerating the work in 2024.
